GRACE

Swedish Grace. An early 20th-century movement that bridged neoclassicism and modernism, where order met ornament and simplicity became an art form.

Photography by François Halard.

A leopard walks gracefully across the Grace 03 rug in Fauna, pausing to look toward the camera. The scene unfolds in a spacious, softly lit room with a sculptural armchair, black folding screen, and classic architectural details, capturing the rug’s organic pattern and muted tones.

AN EMBLEM OF SWEDISH GRACE ARCHITECTURE

At the Stockholm Concert Hall — a hallmark of Swedish Grace architecture — Ivar Tengbom’s neoclassical rhythm and sculptural columns provide the natural backdrop for the collection. A shared expression of symmetry, balance, and grace, the Grace collection offers a modern interpretation of the era, capturing its spirit through form and proportion.

Told through five designs: Burgundy explores architectural structure in a deep, rich hue. Tassel’s subtle framing lines create timeless order. Fauna introduces a naive charm with abstracted animal forms and a harmonious palette. Camel softens geometry with linear motifs that evoke effortless sophistication. Octagon anchors the space with bold, graphic clarity.

The film captures the handwoven rugs — Grace 01 Burgundy, Grace 02 Tassel, and Grace 03 Fauna — displayed among neoclassical sculptures, ornate stair railings, and architectural reliefs in warm natural light.

FABRIZIO CASIRAGHI

Farmer, designed by Fabrizio Casiraghi, is shown here draped over the sculpted geometry of a classical hedge maze — a poetic setting for a rug that merges rustic storytelling with refined elegance. The central figure, framed by a wreath-like motif, evokes folkloric tradition, while the earthy tones and bold border ground the piece in a sense of heritage and craftsmanship. A striking balance of narrative and design.
